Alright finally some progress.
My wife has her interview date for beginning of May.
Can someone tell me, if there is an average timeline from date of interview to DM? (based on past applicants)
No Ajith, nothing more to report.
I may try to talk my MP again next week.
In couple weeks it will be our first wedding anniv and its going to be one year since we were together last. this sucks.
Now that's what I call optimism :)
I was sure my wife would be here (in Canada) by February, its now April and nothing. :( :( :(
Im guessing you are the applicant?
Hi aniadoor,
We usually have to wait until 6 months have passed, before inquiring. As ND most probably will not reply to you. Same applies for contacting your MP.
That being said you can find the email etc on this link:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/completed.asp
Yes they do at times,
A friend of mine went for an interview to ND, and they were going to give him the visa straight away as his medicals was expiring soon. He refused it, and opted to redo the medicals instead, but that's another story.
On our GCMS notes its noted as:
Due date as 1 year from application. I think this is normal for all applications, although most cases are done in 6 months.
So I guess they could take up to a year, if need be? :o
Hi CanVan99,
We have also sent some additional proof after reviewing our GCMS notes. But I dont have any faith that ND will respond within a week, if they do at all. I suggest waiting for at least another week and then see if your MP is willing to inquire.
Hi jun14,
How do you know your BC is not completed?
Is it stated on your GCMS notes? and if so does it say, "its not started yet" or "in process"?
Thanks
Hi Vengat,
I sent an email directly to ATIP-AIPRP@cic.gc.ca
With both of those forms (IMM-5475 and IMM-5563) filled up and attached to the email. (I scanned the forms as pdf's)
Make sure that both the Applicant and Sponsor sign where needed.
