I sent my file on nov 11th, collected by cic on nov the 18, sent back by cic on 23, got it on jan the 26th. My friend sent it on dec the 2nd, got his back on last Friday feb the 6th, are we special then?

Don't worry, you will get your file back in a week or so. i applied cec on November the 11th, got mine back on 26th last month.

It definitely does, the only change is that you will have to stay with her for two years before they hand out you the PR card. For those two years you get the work permit.

Send them your documents as soon as possible, you will stay under inevitable state (cant work) for next couple of weeks until you get your AOR, once you have your AOR, you can apply for bridge permit extension, you will get the wp for the time your pr application processes out.

You have to have AOR in hand to extend your PGWP.

Why dont you need Academic credential?
