Finally Received " Ready for Visa" email after waiting more then 6.5 yrs. But they were asking me to send passport to Ottawa, and my parents went India last month, so waiting for their reply about where to send passport.

you need to provide information for person who you sponsoring exactly as it appear on submitted application. I would recommend you to order GCMS notes, and use the information from there as I had same problem when I was linking mine and then I simply "copy & paste" from notes and it worked...

Thanks Rightback. But my parents still has valid supervisa, which is expiring in 2018. they stayed 1 1/2 years here on supervisa as well. So I was just worried about them if they needs to face any issues while coming back.

I am not sure 100 % but usually it take 10-15 days. you can track through the tracking number. if your return tracking number is activate than you should receive passport within 4-5 days.

Yes, you need US visa for that and I think they don't allow to cross the border for just extending the visa.you have to apply for extend your stay with new super visa insurance. But it's funny that, I have only submitted insurance for 1 year but the renew the visitor permit for two years...

Last year in October 2015, my parents came to Canada on super visa. It was multiple entry visa expiring with passport expiry date. But when they came here, they were only given 1 year visa permit. So we applied again for extending visa and we got extension for 2 years. (expiring in 2018)...
