Note that the Client Application Status tool is updated weekly, usually on Tuesdays. does it mean that they update the ecas every tuesday??

most of the people get their PRs within 1 year. though it varies. dont worry, everything will be in your favour. whats the current status of your friends?? did they apply on october'2013?? and have they received the landing fee request yet?? it yes then when did they receive?? sorry for asking...
