Ray of Hope - 98th Draw

I am almost certain that the next draw will see a cut off of 439 if it happens in 2 weeks with similar number of invites. Most 440s have been cleared up. Anyone agrees?

Ray of Hope - 98th Draw

Looking at the CRS distribution as of Aug 30th, over a 1000 invitations should have gone out to the candidates with a score of 440. Still they are not able to clear all 440s.

IELTS - Writing - For Band 7 or Above.

IELTS - Writing - For Band 7 or Above.

This will most probably get you a 6, 6.5 if you are lucky. 1. The first sentence (We live in the age...) is not needed. Over-generalizations will impact your score negatively. Stick to the topic. Stay away from Jay's videos for IELTS writing if that is what you've been watching. Refer to...

Ray of Hope - 98th Draw

I can't help but wonder about the extent to which we go to reassure ourselves. The draw is going to be what it is going to be and none of this research will matter in a week or less (hopefully).

IELTS - Writing - For Band 7 or Above.

While there is no quick way to improve spelling overnight, I believe half of the spelling mistakes can be taken care of by leaving yourself about 5 mins to proofread your essay / letter. I know this this I did not leave myself any time to review my essay and for sure lost half a band.
