Dear Bugsnette , Empost indeed is a good option . From UAE to Canada they would charge somewhere around Aed.1500 for 30 Kg box , not including electronics , perfumes or any breakable items. See if it is worth spending that amount. Books , clothes , utensils are fine to send it through them...
