Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I would call them to explain the situation since there is clearly a mistake on one end.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Yes, @lost_soul is right, look for the information in their website when applying. I was lucky to speak with people who had the correct information when contacting them by phone but that is not always the case. It is always a good idea to go directly to their offices.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Hi, when I was under a study permit, my husband had an open work permit based on my status and was eligible for health care RAMQ) so you might want to call RAMQ to ask. When you first request it, it takes some months since I believe there is a waiting period so you guys might get a response for...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Hi. I am in a similar situation. We did our medicals in December 2019 and submitted PCC (not Canada) in April 2020. I called IRCC in July and they said both the criminal and security screening had not started at that point. I called again at the beginning of August and in early September and...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Just a heads up that this article is from 2019. The immigration levels went up again in 2020. It is true that Quebec files take longer than other programs, however, the delays we are all experiencing are a direct result of the virus outbreak...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Hi, I am in a similar situation. My deadline was May 13th, I called a couple of days ago only to find out they have not started my security verification. Concerning the two other stages (background and criminal verification) did you ask about each or did they give you an update on every stage? I...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Hi, I am also inland applicant. Just called IRCC as I am heading my 24th month (I applied on July 2018). They also told me my security check has not yet started. I asked him how long does it takes and the agent did not know. I don't think it takes that long but does anyone here has any...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

This Wednesday (May 13th) will be exactly 22 months which is the current timeframe, I guess this is the reason why it is showing as 100% without an actual decision.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

As @VCIce mentions, the process for the Mexican PCC is a bit different when you are already in Canada, it has to be done through the Canadian Embassy in Mexico City and you can only submit it once IRCC requests it -the process is quite long as it takes about 4 months.

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

Hi, Today I reached 100% in my timeline but no decision yet. I called IRCC and they said they added a note on May 8th that my PCC was received on April 1st and that they do not have more info since the background check continues. I guess the delay is due to the outbreak so just wondering if...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I was wondering the same thing. I am only 14 days away but looks like there is not much going on. I read that applications are still being processed but not sure what stages of the app are on stand by (??). Perhaps they will not render decisions until the travel restrictions are lifted in June??

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I have added my timeline to my signature. The process for my home country's PCC is a bit different (and quite long) so it was submitted on April 1st and have not heard back since. I am only a couple of weeks away of the original 22-month timeframe and while my timeline has not changed in my app...

Quebec Skilled Worker Federal Stage (After CSQ)

I think you are still within the normal timeframe for MR. I got my request closer to my 17th month and it was back in November before the virus outbreak. I guess there will be some delays due to the current situation. Good luck!

    POLICE CERTIFICATE MEXICO

Under the program I am applying (PEQ) there are delays but apparently they have resumed the process this week. It is my understanding there were no passport requests as the landing appointments were suspended from March 13th to April 13th but they announced the appointments have resumed as of...

I think they are still working as the submitted my PCC to Canadian Embassy two weeks ago and this situation had already started. I also called the Fiscalia by the end of March and they said they were still working but less people was around. Good luck with your process, mine took 68 working days...
