@CoolSandy I always thought the files were transferred to NS after getting approved in Ottawa. This new information puts a whole new perspective in place. I think they would send it only on the day we complete 6 months.

@CoolSandy Please ask them if they ever plan to transfer our files to LVO from NS. I've the same timeline as yours. Tried calling yesterday. No luck.

@Jaskiran Kapoor I belong to the same unlucky lot. Application transferred from CPC, Ottawa to CIO, Sydney, NS.

The wait is now killing me. I have an international trip planned in the last two weeks of December and if they ask for Passport I don't know if I'll get it back on time. :mad::mad:

@NareshC No update after that on the portal. I did call CIC on 26th. The agent informed that my application was approved on 19th October and is in Sydney, NS.

In August I used Web Form to know Security, Criminality, Eligibility and Visa Office. I received a reply after 3 weeks. It said eligibility is met and the application is being processing Case processing Center, Ottawa. Everything is in order and they would reach out if they need more...

@sk1234 I did call on Monday. The ageen was nice. He told that the application is approved and transferred to CIO, NS. Asked me to be patient for the PPR.

Can this delay be due to the fact that the IRCC contracts with Visa Application Centers is getting expired on Nov 1, 2018? New contracts in place from Nov 2, 2018. Just a thought after seeing this as a tweet from IRCC.
