No I only provided the criminal records from France (where I'm from). I was told that they get the canadian ones themselves. Not sure if that's true, but I believe it is because I have my landing interview in less than a month and I never sent them

Not sure how long it *really* takes for the open work permit, but the CIC website sas 58 days if you applied online. I applied on sep 7th and don't have it yet

Did you apply for open work permit as soon as you were allowed to do so (as in, a few days later), or did you wait a little more ? Did you apply online or by mail ? how long did it take ? Thanks !

Not necessarily. It happened to me ! Stage 2 was approved 6 days after stage 1 =)

You should call CIC using your UCI. Did you also try to see what your online status says ? In the meantime, if I were you, I would just resend whatever they are asking for
