    Yes , IELTS is valid for 2 years. But if you used it in the PR process, you can use the same one in the citizenship process again. If you had a IELTS test taken for other reasons which is older than 2 years, than you can.t use it in the citizenship application and you have to get a CELPIP.

    I just sent our aplication and I filled.that section as your option 1. If you had interrupted the stidies for more than the regular vacations then you should mention that period as unemployment.

    I just applied a few days ago, and I was told that it is a good idea to have a 20-30/days buffer on top of the 1460 days requirement. Just trying to avoid later delays in the process. All this being said, you are leagaly Ok to apply, but you could encounter some extra scrutiny down the road.

    You need minimum 4 years with tax returns. You will have to wait for the T 4, file the tax for 2016 and then you can apply. Also many of my friends recommend me do file for citizenship when I have 1500 days in Canada.
