My husband and I have recently submitted application for spousal sponsorship and have decided that once we recieve good news, we would like to travel around europe for a week before moving back to Canada to celebrate...how is everyone else celebrating???

Hiya, Im applying for spousal sponsorship from the London office as well...The easiest and quickest was paying online and printing off a copy of the reciept and attaching with the application forms, the total should come to $1040

Depends on what youre looking for... If you want to make money, have a decent house, dont mind putting up with the harsh winters then go to Alberta, If you want an outdoorsy lifestyle with great climate and dont mind paying high rent, gas prices and taxes, then go to BC

Also, wonder if they take into account the date of the medical when opening packages...according to the CIC website, the medical is valid only for a year and must be landed within that year. My husband had his medical back in Feb but we didnt send out application til April due to having to wait...

The medical is good for a year from date of issue...

My apologies, Fence Sitter is right, dont need to sign 8 photos...my passoport expired during the process and those photos definitely need to be signed and dated, also make sure you take the form with you, the measurements are different from standard passport photo size :)

Im pretty sure they do need to be signed and dated from the photo studio

I also forgot to write "Spousal Sponsorship" on my envelope (my head is like a sieve sometimes)...I was in such a hurry and put the address of the courier delivery CPC instead and only realized when I got home and had to run back to the post office to re-write the correct address for the CPC in...

you should be ok! another member from the forum explained to me that it must be within 3 months that you submit your application, not that it expires in 3 months...phew! i was thinking the same thing so we can both breathe a sigh of relief! hope this helps :)...
