My app was with the Scarborough office and I got a Canada Day oath invite, but I do not yet know the location Time in ecas is for 12:30pm, but I did not see a ceremony scheduled for that time anywhere in Ontario. Looks like it is coming via regular mail, not email, so I will wait and see! A.

I did not... I guess it will come in the regular post -- unlike the fingerprint request and test invite which both came by email. Go figure. :-) A.

    Scarborough -DM-Oath

Honestly? Does it really matter? Will it make a shred of difference? We all sit around and agonize over whether our file has been transferred from one office to another, but even knowing where it is makes NO difference to how it will be processed. Why bother, if we can't change it, and can't...

Plz share your Citizenship Test experience

LOL... mine was very straightforward... and 10% of my questions were about hockey. Which just makes it easy for my colleagues south of the border to tease me. Bottom line, there is definitely some variability in the test... there's at least half a dozen different versions. -A.

I took my test 2 weeks ago... passed with 20/20 but still no "decision made". The case officer implied an oath invite by end of summer since I am a September applicant and that would meet the 12 month service standard, but honestly, it's incredibly variable, so who knows? Good luck to all... A.

    NEXUS with expired PR card

I would... the renewal is ~60 days or so... at least it was last August when I renewed. I submitted my citizenship app the month after. I am also a Nexus holder and you don't want to risk using it with expired documents. Not worth getting kicked out of the program. Good luck! -A.

    Test to DM time?

Hi all - My application does seem to be progressing, but I've seen so many folks post on here (and in the spreadsheet) with times from test to DM measured in days... often the next day or within a week. I took my test on April 18 (20/20 score) and nothing since. The case officer said my...

Agree to all that has been stated so far. I read "Discover Canada" twice. Once a week before the test, and once the night before the test. I also found the Richmond Library online tests to be pretty close to the real thing. Good luck! -A.
