Hey guys, I got my PR card today (landed on 9/20). The whole process took me 16.5 months from app to landing. I'm sitting here with my infant son on my lap... relieved that we won't be separated. I just hope that everyone else gets through this as well. Canada is beautiful. :)

I went to my landing interview yesterday morning at CIC's office. When I got there the officer said she was pretty much just doing data verification--I received an "approval" letter via email in August. There was no suspense or intrigue, just a confirmation of basic facts. What concerns me is...

After I saw "Decision Made" in Ecas, I called CIC to discuss what happens next... anyway, aside from confirming that my application had been approved, the lady I spoke to says that I should call back if I don't get an interview letter from them within a month. So I'm anticipating my turn around...

OMG I just logged into Ecas and saw "Decision Made"... they have my common law partner's email wrong, so we never got sponsor approval email. Wow... just wow.

You need to send them the actual physical copy of the police certificates. The USA certificate is watermarked and has security features which do not necessarily reproduce in an electronic submission. I would send the physical copies as soon as possible.
