Application Received 31/12/2020. I got a ghost update yesterday “profile updated”. Today I received pre-arrival letter and checked ecas says DM for both sponsors and applicant. What could this mean?

My status was expired and I was preparing for my spousal file and was within the restoration period and I was also eligible for pilot owp. The restoration date then was extended from Dec 31, 2020 to August 31, 2021.

I have applied for owp with spousal application in December. I don't have any idea what they going to do with that tbh.

PGWP EXPIRED august 24, 2020. Applied under new policy on Feb 6, 2021 with restoration. Approved yesterday for 18 months. Update notification message today on Saturday. No idea when I'll get the copy. In addition, Married to a Canadian Citizen and applied for spousal case in December 2020.

It will start from the day your owp is approved. If you apply today and say it is approved after 80 days considering the processing time it will start from the date it has been approved.

You need to tick restore column too if your status has expired or you haven’t restored it before applying for this OWP.

If you have straight forward case there is no need of it. However, if you want to let them know anything feel free to add it.

You need to restore until you have no status in hand. I believe we will not be allowed to work until our PGWP is approved. Any senior member can put some more light to your question.
