Have you used WEB-FORM to add more inofrmation.

You will be fine. Good luck!

Have you used WEB-FORM to add more inofrmation.

You helped your case if you were filling a gap in your documentation of your history. If you were just augmenting the employment history (there were no gaps but just adding an overlapping work history), it doesn't hurt your case but makes it a complete file. Relax! You have done the right thing...

Plz share your Citizenship Test experience

sns204 covered it :) but if searching the forum isn't your thing, here's a little nugget of wisdom; read/listen to Discover Canada as many times as it takes for you to remember the key dates and people in Canada's history. The test is not a game of gotcha. It is designed to help new citizens...

    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

Thanks! My DM and Oath Invite dates are the same. April 6. I saw the DM status change in ECAS on April 7 with a note about Oath letter sent on April 6th. I received the letter by mail (arrived in my mailbox on 10th).

    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

So..I have been guilty of not updating my status in the past month and half but that is just how I am...right up there with superstitious baseball and hockey players. Office - Mississauga Oath Taken - April 27 Decision Made - April 6 Test Date - March 28 Test Invite Date - March 8 And for...

What should I check first for Test invitation ?

There is no right answer to this question :) You will receive one of email or mail (depending on your office) and ECAS will be updated. Which happens first depends on your luck....

    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

Mississauga had tons of oath ceremonies in April with 2 ceremonies scheduled on some days. Even if you assume 30 applicants in a ceremony that makes it a few hundred in just 1 month. Mississauga and Scarborough process the most applicants in the country. The reality is that not every applicant...

    Ceremony video and release

Here are the instructions - https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/corporate/publications-manuals/operational-bulletins-manuals/canadian-citizenship/ceremony/media-considerations.html They apparently want your release even if media is not present.

    Ceremony video and release

IRCC may at times allow ceremonies to be recorded/photographed. You have the option of not providing consent and they will make alternate arrangements for you. I am not sure if they record every ceremony but it is known to happen.

    No AOR in 4 months

The forum here is pretty good but the constant tracking can be frustrating, especially if your application hasn't crossed step 1. I remember reading some October applicants getting their AOR pretty late in Jan or Feb but their application moved to In Process pretty quickly. So it can take 3-4...

    No AOR in 4 months

You have done your part by sending in a second application, checking with your MP and following up with IRCC. At this point just wait. How does withdrawing your application help you in any way? It might convey to IRCC, if it were a person with undivided attention, that you are angry but...

What are the best documentaries that would contain most/all of discover Canada...

Somebody here posted about a CBC documentary that is available on YouTube. Look for a video released last year(??) and it starts with an intro by Justin Trudeau. It has lot of the same information.

    Various stages before getting citizenship.

Application Sent -> AOR received -> ECAS Status changes to In Process -> Test Invite Sent -> ECAS status changes to Decision Made -> Oath invite sent -> Oath taken -> Status changes to complete. During this process, you may receive Fingerprint request, various versions of RQ (there are posts in...

    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

Depends on the office...some send an email and others just a mail. ECAS will be updated.

    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

I was going to ask the same question :) To the OP... Don't fret over meaningless (to you) details on the ATIP/GCMS notes. My guess is Prohibitions refers to the list of all Prohibitions that could disqualify you. So it's probably not a single agency doing the check but your case officer...

    October 11th 2017 - Citizenship Applicants under 3/5 rule

Depends on where your "Toronto" file lands :) Mississauga sends mail while Scarborough, I believe, sends emails.

    Documents Required

Where did you see the need for marriage certificate? The list of documents you need to send with the initial application is pretty small. You may need to collect additional documents and have it ready in case you think you have a complicated case or barely meet the physical presence requirements...

    Question-11, 13 & 15 - Canadian Citizenship Application (CIT0002E)

Just to be clear, you have to list all passports in the eligibility period (5 years). You may already understand it but I noticed you said your husband's passport expires next year and that would generally mean the current passport covered the entire 5 year eligibility period.
