I supposed to wait for interview request or starting the background check, but just received the Bulletin 1 (Pre-Arrival Letter) from email. Is that means DM is coming?

We had sent in our outland application on June 14th to Sydney office. Hong Kong visa office had started processing our application on September 22nd and now waiting for background check. I heard the processing time can be from 7 months to 12 months.........

The application was transfer to HongKong visa office and received the email letter on 11th September. Now waiting for background check if necessary because applicant only live in one place in his lifetime. Peanut butter and jelly, do you think this is true?

No need for a background check from the Manila visa office? That is fantastic!! Congrats!!!

As of I know, AOR2 means visa office confirms received your application. SA means sponsor approved by the Sydney office. I received both confirmations by letter to my email.

It's worth to call the IRCC (1-888-242-2100) and ask.

Hi there, I received email saying that our application has been transfer to Hong Kong Visa Office today. I saw some Hong Kong applicants only takes 7 months to get final DM and landed. I am wondering is that a regular timeline if everything goes smooth? Please advise.

I don't have that problem. The problem I had was my application got cancelled due to Sydney office made a mistake and had to recreate a new application number. Luckily, the new number was created in 10 days, but it's already got us scared to hell.
