Hubby's ECAS changed to decision made today. No oath invite yet. Interesting to see that some are being sent by mail. We have had some really bad luck with Canada Post and IRCC documents, I hope we get an email.

Hi, got an update! Moved to in process on Jan 21! Also, date sent was Sept. 2 Is the test invite sent by email? We're leaving to Aus for a month and if the invite comes through snail mail, we may miss it?

They said we didn't send any......also said no bio pages from passport.....but we did, and there were. We double and triple checked before we sent the package.

You don't need to worry about the brother in law, I believe they are referring to immediate family. Are your step kids Canadian born? If so, a copy of their birth certificates will be what you need.

Ours took a day short of 5 weeks from PPR to COPR arriving via snail mail.

No, they didn't send an email. E-cas changed to decision made, assumably the day they sent the COPR to us. We received the COPR in the mail approx. 10 days later. Then we went down to Las Vegas for a little trip and my hubby "landed" in Calgary on our return.

We emailed the scanned copy of my husband's passport and mailed the photos and appendix B, however, you can complete the appendix B and send a scanned copy of that back too. We had to mail the pics, so figured the appendix B could go that way too. We sent ours by express post and it got there...

They had a giant backlog last year at Mississauga and opened an office in Ottawa to deal with it. When we applied in March last year the wait for stage one processing got up to over 100 days.
