Thank you guys for your prompt response. I guess you are right. The last time I called (during my sch A submission) they mentioned that my VO (in this case London UK) will first receive it, acknowledge it and then send you a medical request. Its just that a lot of people from my same city...

That could be a system glitch which is mentioned on the CIC website in yellow box. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/account.asp
