My sister got accepted in a college in Canada for academic year 2016:/17. When should she apply for the study permit? We are kind of worried that she get rejected if we apply too early (this month)..The starting date is sep 2016 for her course.

Did you get rejected from the school or from the visa office ?

Thank you @stanadyne114 for the reply. I have applied and been issued a US visa on my RTD. Have you known anyone drove to the US by car and been able to re-enter Canada while their PR application is processing? What kind of questions should I expect to be asked by the border agent. Thanks again.

@vnmgirl Is the visa called Schengen? I believe the Schengen allows you to enter all countries in Europe including Switzerland.

what did you found out by the end? CIC received my PR application on Feb 2015. How would I be able to know if I had the initial approval? I am a protected person btw.
