You only need a transit VISA if your stop over is more then 8 hours and you want to get out of the airport. But if you want to stay at the airport there should not be a problem. Good luck :)

when you land in Canada you have to show your international ticket to the westjet peeps they will allow to carry your luggage because they know that you are international.

If you miss the orientation there is not a problem at all. Its an event where you get to meet all the new students and your teachers and get to see the college. So dont worry.

that means that your pp has been processed. It can be collected by you by giving the receipt that you got when you submitted your application with a copy of passport or if you want someone else to collect it you need to hand over it to that person and they have to attach their ID. Good luck :)

The processing time for both spp and non spp are almost same. and yes so many people have got their visa under the general category.

There are many people who didn't get the email but still got the pp with the visa stamped So don't worry and I hope your visa is approved. :)
