Hi, I sent the email on Nov 15 and got the reply on January 17, 2015. So that's almost 9 weeks' wait. However yours response can be earlier as they any such inquiry is case specific. Hope that helps. Good luck :)

Any August applicant got MR yet? Before I received my PER, I sent an email to CIC to enquire about my status and got a reply today that my application is in my visa office. Does it mean they started processing my application? In the online status checker, it say "IN PROCESS" though.
