Interesting.. it appears though for those applied under CEC, if the spouse is not a Canadian, then applications get transferred to spouse's home visa office for further processing..is this a fair assumption.. yea, folks, please keep this forum updated if you hear back anything.. take care

Thanks for the response..my spouse too in Canada on open work permit..I am trying to determine if at the time you applied your spouse was abroad and subsequently joined you.. this would explain why we all received this letter.

I doubt.. my wife is now in Canada on open work permit..at the time of application she was abroad and I mentioned accordingly in that paper application sent out.. I still got the application transferred..

I got the same message..on the exact same day (last Friday)...except mine got transferred to Colombo. I added my spouse after I got medical - at that time she was in Colombo but since then she joined me here on open work permit visa. Let's keep this forum updated on our timelines guys..good...
