yeah.. My eligibility is under review since 14th May 2021. In this phase the VO checks all your documents in detail. Your SOP, Educational documents, Experience letters, Home ties proof, and sometimes, if necessary, they try to verify your experience as well (if provided documents seem suspicious)

So they reviewed your file in a single day? eligibility started on 25th and bvl on 26th.

Yes .. raised one in the mid of June and the response was background check is in process before finalising your TR. raised again by the end of june but no reply.. I have received 5…6 ghost updates and my last ghost update was in the first week of june.. no update afterwards..

No progress.. SDS March 26th

Waiting since March 2021. No update as of now.

Interview thing isn’t good at all.. That’s y they are delaying your decision.. Btw I don’t recommend calling IRCC over and over again bcoz every call history is attached with your file, like raising a webform.. GCMS notes also has a calling history..

And what about online portal? Is there any notification for eligibility interview? The agent didn’t ask me but a consultant told me to always say that you are inside Canada, otherwise the agent will disconnect the call. The address doesn’t matter even if your permanent address is of your home...

It depends on the call agent.. I called from my home country and the agent gave me complete status.. However, when I called second time after 3 weeks the agent refused to give info.. So better try your luck.

Why don’t you order gcms notes ? I have seen people have passport request pending on GCMS notes. And IRCC don’t bother to give them their final decision unless the applicant raises multiple webforms.

When you call IRCC, it goes straight to their main call centre in Canada.. So, of course Canada.. and while calling you have to pretend that you are calling from inside Canada.. and for that, you will need to buy a Canadian number online..

I think you should wait this week at least.. Call IRCC by the end of this week.. They will give you complete information about the visa office processing your application and whether or not you have met the eligibility requirements.

My file was also in Ottawa but they didn’t review, and transferred it to Abu Dhabi.. When did you submit the application?

I really hope so.. But the way they are processing applications it seems difficult that we all would get the decision soon. We can just wait, pray and watch ..

See we are not sure how Abu Dhabi is issuing final decisions. They are quite random. Final decisions are subjected to whether or not the applicant passed or failed the eligibility criteria. I know a whole lot of people who have passed the eligibility criteria but waiting for their final...

Exactly.. My classes are also offered both online and on campus.. But I will prefer online.. at least a semester. Hopefully will get my visa approved soon. :)
