Hi juney, we had our exam oct4th, family application too, nothing yet. I am expecting mine Feb-March next year...anything earlier would be an unexpected present! I am assuming family applications take longer...

If you have seen my previous link, this is an actual case of CIC abandoning the file, so IT COULD happen. WHATEVER WHENEVER HOWEVER, it could happen, get it?!
CIC has the power to decide if your excuse is life threatening or not...unless you are in the hospital or someone has died this is an invitation to play with fire...they have and can easily abandon the application by law....Unless there is a valid excuse for rescheduling its too risky.
I am not trying to be mean or rude, but to be bluntly honest, CIC can abandon the application under the new rules and ask the applicant to re-apply again,

You really think that they will sympathize with your Holliday plans or have the time to discuss this? You can only reschedule in case of a life emergency (example: someone has died), other than expect a residency question are or the case to be closed....is it worth it?!!
I was the last person to leave the test hall, it was too basic and simple, to the point that I was so much in doubt, I kept going over the answers to make sure I got them right!
I don't know about you, but I would gladly copy every page, pay for every copy then risk my application being returned after 5-6 month of waiting, just follow the process and do whatever they ask you to do, do not assume that they have the time for common sense...if you don't send every page...

ps; i had a tax audit last year, thanks to CRA they made me collect all kinds of documents!

We have a family application, received one invite in my name "primary applicant" but no invite for my wife, her test shows up on ecas, is this normal?
