They put the reason what you put while applying for the PCC. I don't think it will be an issue if you submit this one as long as it says for Canada. You should have said immigration purpose other than citizenship.

No. It is not generic. The letter specifically asks for Primary applicant's PCC and Travel history and spouse's PCC. Spouse's travel history is part of primary applicant's travel history form.

My parents did it more than 2 months ago and it still says need biometrics. I can see Biometric number and validity.

Hello, I check it almost every few hours every day as long as I am awake :):) I got it on Sunday at 2:58 PM and the letter is also dated July 14, 2019. As per the letter, I have 30 days to do biometrics (Aug 14, 2019).

@YULIA-2016 Please update the spreadsheet! My parents application went in process on July 4, 2019! Application has 2 applicants and today on Sunday, I received Biometric requests for both applicants! Both ECAS still says in process.

Have it printed at Walmart or Shoppers Drug Mart!
