Today I received my old application in my mailbox with a letter asking me to pay the balance and resubmit. I already did that 4 days ago and the new application was delivered to CIC at 13 February.

I called CIC. Your package will be surely returned. Pay your fee balance and Make another package and submit it with the two receipts and a letter describing it. I did that already

Wished the same but I placed two phone calls and both agents confirmed that the application will be returned. Also another guy from this forum called and it was the same answer. Don't wait until the new citizenship law is put into action.

May I ask how did they know? 24 months from jan 2013 will count to jan 2015. We are still in 2014

What a bad luck. Now I will have to wait for them to open my file, Find the old fees are being paid, Mail me back the file, Me paying the new fees and sending it back to them. They should have stated that fees paid after or on 6 of February rather than a received date that we have nothing to do...

No Canada post delivered it today 6 February. I paid the fees on January 28 online

I sent my application on February 1st 2014 and Canada post reported that it was delivered February 6th. I hope the new bill wont affect my file. :(

Hello, I paid the citizenship processing fees online but the receipt that was emailed to me doesn't have my name, address or phone number on it. It only has the amount paid, receipt number & date on it. Should I fill it by myself or just send it as it is?
