How long is it taking the FBI to provide the clearance certificates these days?

Thanks. It seems strange that there are two such similar, but different wordings, but I agree with your interpretation. I was just hoping I wouldn't need to apply for the police certificate. I'm hoping that it isn't too long a process dealing with the FBI these days. Thanks again!

Ironically, the CIC did request this form despite all the other legal documents we had proving his mom approved of his move here. It didn't delay us more than a week, but I'd advise anyone else with children to just go ahead and send it even though it's nowhere on any checklist I saw.
