For the other country it would only be a consent to disclosure of information form and CIC communicate directly with the authorities over there, so I'm not really stressed about it... But after reading carefully CIC's guide I think they won't ask for it because they say they will ask one for
the...
@Brittanyyyc we have a close timeline, we should follow each other! I was wondering too if they will be asking for more documents. My husband lived in two different countries, one we submitted PCC with the application as country specific requirement, the other we didn't provide anything yet but...
You got your AOR anyway so you shouldn't worry about it... I guess it's just easier to for them to verify your application and make sure you aren't missing anything if you put it the way they ask, but doesn't mean they are returning applications if some documents are not placed in the right order.
CP means case postale, French version of PO BOx, so it wouldn't solve your problem to use only CP 6100. You can send it by express post or use the CIC courier address http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/mississauga.asp
You just have to follow the guide, and it does say that you need to put you checklist first, then your barcode pages, and then every other documents in the same order as mentioned on the checklist.
I can't really tell you as I don't have my access to myCIC right now so I can't verify, but from memory it still says that my action in required and that they need additional documents, nothing changed in that regard. I verified with an agent on the phone and apart from Schedule A they weren't...
Normal time for AOR is probably from 3 to 6 weeks. If that much time have passed and you haven't received anything than you should probably call to see what happened. You can also follow the spreadsheet to compare with similar timelines as yours...
We did send a mix of documents translated in french and english. I don't think it matters since I'm pretty sure any officier treating files submitted in french in the Mississauga office will know english as well...
We submitted our documents through Webform on June 8th and we received a notification that it was received yesterday, so a bit less than a month for us... Also myCIC was updated and it now says that the background check is in progress...
In my case they sent an email to my husband requesting Schedule A and mentioning that I would be asked to apply to the CSQ on May 5 (which he didn't receive until we called CIC and asked them to send it again) and then I received the CSQ request email five days later (May 10)
No problem... I'm in the same position here, just hoping my husband find work a soon as possible so he can get the insurance in three months... We have to be patient but comparing to the old system I think we are lucky... I have seen a lot of people waiting one or two year between AIP and DM...
Working for QC provincial health insurance, I have seen a lot of AIP in the past, but it seems that with the new procedures everything goes faster and people tend to get AIP and DM almost at the same time. If you have a valid OWP you could still apply for OHIP if you are working full-time in...
How many days between the day you saw the request on myCIC and and when you actually received the documents? Same thing here, we saw the resquest for medical exam on myCIC but no messages, I called earlier today and they said we did not need one yet...
