Hello I hope every1 is staying safe in these tough times. Back to topic though i think this ordeal is gonna make our wait time even longer. Its 22 months and cointing now whereas the new processing time is only 10 months now. What u guys think.

End od this week marks 1 year and 3 weeks since last update on my file. Absolutely no progress since. Still no medical request and no background check started. Agent said will send msssg to the officer looking on file in start if jan but still nothing. Hard to belive.

Last update on my file was in Feb 17,2019. Can't believe over year passed and did not get any update at all. God knows whts going on. Still backgroung check not started, medical not requested, applicant side status still in progress. Got no idea waht to do.

Thts good news atleast we see some movement.

Hello friends Does anyone know the difference between ordering GCM notes and ordering web form request. My sponsorship application is still in process and has taken a lot longer than usual and i am confused should i order gcm notes or web form request. Would appreciate any help. Thanks

Seems like cic officers forgot june 2018 applicants and started working in june 2019 applicants now. Our files must be tucked back in the closet somewhere and nobody bothers to see what is there in that corner.

MP wasnt much help for me either. Just got the same info that i already had. Annoying

I am in the same situation except have not got medical request. They told my mp that medical has not been requestes yet, background check not started yet. And estimated time remaining unknown.

Another week passed by and no updates!!!

I called cic again today to talk about appliction. But the agent said it is still in process and offices are aware that it is talking lot longer than usual but there is absolutely nthin they can do about it. So all I can do is wait and dont know for how much more longer!

Origionally from vanc but file is transferred to montreal. And i did not order any notes. How do I do that and hw long does it takes? I have a representative who continiously keep on saying to wait and nothing is in his hands and he cant do anything other than to wait.
