    Maybe the incomplete original application has slowed down the processing of your application. Other people who applied after you have jumped ahead of you in the queue unfortunately. Guess you'll just have to be patient. Your AOR will come soon.

    Acknowledgement of Receipt. Means they received your application and it appears to be complete

    I can't really remember but I think we were given the option to receive communication from CIC by email or physical mail. I you chose email then you'll receive your AOR to your email address. You'll probably hear from them this week.

    Did you sign up for email notification? Give it a few more days and if you hear nothing you should probably call them.

    So you're now able to log in to the CIC website and check your status? Almost three months for AOR is a lot. They must be understaffed and they're also receiving a lot of applications from fake refugees who just walked over the border from the USA which is a safe country... .

    On the form it says that they don't want you to contact CBSA for this info though. Bit of a pain having to supply all this info if you crossed the border multiple times per year.
