It is a mistake to hire a lawyer for a straight forward process .. actually hiring a lawyer will just make things more annoying and complicated .. it is better to deal with CIC directly.

CIC called me today as I have requested a name fix .. they had a problem writing my name and they fixed it. I asked them about the file Status .. the file is spending security clearance from the Canadian Intelligence once this is ready I will get the test .. that what the I was told .. my file...

People in BC are the fastest .. there is a July Applicant got his test already!

I think what matters is when your application was transferred to the local office and to which local office .. Remember there is two stages of processing .. Sydney and local office ..

I will just wait and see .. calling CIC is headache and you have to stay on the phone for like 20 min waiting and it is a bit hard for me to do that as I am at work .. I assume it will take 2 weeks to reach Mississauga and 4-8 weeks after .. so I am hoping to get the exam end of November/...

To Be Honest .. I am not sure .. I called them like a week after my Received line disappeared and they said the file is "on it is way" to Mississauga and hasn't reach there yet .. This was a week exactly after the received line disappeared ..
