Yes, we have such sentence in our letter too, I am sure these letters are more or less standard. But I haven't read about such case on this forum in the last year at least.

Yes, in your case it might be easier. I am taking care of an elderly person who does not drive and does not have bills on her name. Your AIP letter is NOT the proof of address. They have a list of documents and they are very strict about it.

Again, probably depends on the case, home country etc. In our case they asked all the countries where the applicant lived for more than 6 months in the last 10 years before coming to Canada.

I agree. We said it here many times. I did a lot of work on our file to save money and speed it up, but I could never done this whole application all by myself. I needed the guidance from the lawyer.

In my opinion, you need to have quite an experience to put this type of application together without any professional help. I am glad if you succeeded without it, but most of the people hire at least an immigration counsel if not a lawyer for these cases because these applications are very unusual.
