Congratulations to all those with updates and PPRs!!! So happy to see progress with April applications.. My application has seen no movement in forever, NOTHING! THOSE WHO HAD AOR IN APRIL AND APPLIED FROM INSIDE CANADA DISCUSS HERE

Congratulations shadyd!!! So sad to hear about your situation uncle_smile!! It is really unfair that CIC takes forever to refuse an application and then doesn't even tell them the reason immediately.. I really hope you can re-open your case!! Good luck.. 3 months and waiting.. no updates yet...

THOSE WHO HAD AOR IN APRIL AND APPLIED FROM INSIDE CANADA DISCUSS HERE

I have a similar situation.. My partner and I have to travel in September for 3 weeks as well since we are getting married in our home country! I'm worried that the PPR may come close to travel dates and cause a problem. We have two months left before our scheduled travel and no sign of any...

THOSE WHO HAD AOR IN APRIL AND APPLIED FROM INSIDE CANADA DISCUSS HERE

Yet another upsetting Friday evening :( I was really expecting it to be a week where I saw some movement but I guess we have yet another unsettling weekend and a few more days of anxiety lying ahead of us. To be honest, CIC had a much larger volume of applications coming in every month in the...

THOSE WHO HAD AOR IN APRIL AND APPLIED FROM INSIDE CANADA DISCUSS HERE

We applied for our BOWP online. We were pleasantly surprised to see it approved so quickly as well! My PGWP was expiring on April 17 and my BOWP was approved on April 16 (just in time!!!), maybe that was the reason they hurried up the process? When we applied, processing times were 36 days and...

All AORs received in April 2015, lets connect here and share updates & timelines

Thanks Esantos. That is my understanding of the Schedule A as well, because we do fill all info online now. I was curious to see so many applicants receive a Schedule A and was wondering if its become some sort of norm to expect. Thank you!

Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

Ok again, I repeat, it depends on the VO handling your case and its complexity. If you were an applicant in the Paper based PR system, processing times have a HUGE difference. Applying for example from Sao Paulo VO would take 2 months to get your PR, from LA or New York it was 35-42 months and...

All AORs received in April 2015, lets connect here and share updates & timelines

Quick question, has anyone received a PPR WITHOUT being asked for a Schedule A? Or is a Schedule crucial for Express entry.

Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

Once you apply for Permanent Residency after an ITA, everyone is in the same bucket. I think its 'unfair' to call yourself a 'top ranker' and diss others who also rightly qualified and deserved an equal opportunity. All files are treated equally and your processing depends on to complexity in...

Express Entry applicants who received AOR connect here

My ECAS only shows the following two lines: ECAS (Application Received) 1. We received your application for permanent residence on January 12, 2015. 2. Medical results have been received. I don't have a second line with ' we have started processing your application' and my dates have not been...

Is there any one got BOWP based on Express entry AOR?

CIC never fails to be inconsistent! They are constantly changing their rules and requirements. Sorry to hear you can't apply anymore with the first AOR :(
