i think you should go ahead and apply for the PCC, make a copy of everything you used to apply for the pcc and submit to cic with a letter of explanation saying that the country issuing the PCC says it will take ___weeks to be available. They may give you an extension.

They will give you a time frame in which you are meant to submit the additional document if not they will make decision with what they have. its best to submit the additional document before the deadline to avoid a rejection

I finally got my report on saturday! That was a very close call! I didnt want to raise a cse at all. Thanks @StevieFray for the encouragement. I wish everyone all the best! i hope FBI doesnt actually take so long in updating their system.

my deadline is Sep 27 I'm pressed for time. But all I can do is wait. I'll try to be more patient and worry less cos it won't yield anything.

My report is already completed and mailed out. The delay is now from USPS not FBI anymore however I called FBI to get the tracking number for the mail and they said they cant give it to me.

USPS is getting on my last nerve!!!! My report was mailed on Tuesday and they have still not delivered it. My deadline is 27th and im just a nervous wreck right now. And whats the deal with FBI not giving you the tracking number?

I know right! They need to speed things up!!! But that wont be so bad because if it happens, then the wait time between when your application is opened and processed wont be so long anymore and that will be good news for some people.

Unfortunately i didnt ask what packages were being opened.

i just called FBI and they said they are processing JUNE 26 and it will take 48hrs to mail it out.

Please do you get an email from fbi when they mail out your certificate.

Its actually a ground for rejection. Infact applications are rejected for incompleteness at the CIO level meaning it may not even get to a VO who can request for additional documents
