You mean you got clearance from Alberta RCMP and they will be the one to forward it to CPP-O?

You can send it as soon as you got your file number or wait for PC request from your visa officer., I presume from CPP-O. Did you include your RCMP clearance?

You can only apply for a BOWP if you got your file number from CIO and 4 months before your current permit expires, you can't use your nomination cert instead of LMO. If you want to verify it ask advice from CIC or AINP office. All the best.

thanks, same to you :) It all boils down if you have send your PR application to CIO and got your file number for you to be eligible for BOWP. So if everything is ready for you for CIO send it asap. When is your current work permit expires?

Mostly I guess knew about this BOWP already. The main emphasis here is " if your current work permit is about to expire, specifically 4 months before " and you must have your file number from CIC. What goldbank means maybe is if after getting nomination you can apply for a BOWP after you resign...

This change for me somewhat means of the AINP's superficial emphasis (they made it appear less disappointing maybe?) that those who haven't gotten their file numbers yet may not be accepted for processing after all because of the volume of applications they received or else they may just extend...
