Sometime it takes 10 days to get reply (if you submitted case specific enquiry) but sometimes it take 45 days. I don't think so it is good idea to send emails or enquires just for asking about status of your file because they will work with their pace. They don't care about our enquiries so it...

My ECAS shows decision made on same date like yours but I have not received any PPR yet. For no reason I applied for my work permit extension permit expiring end of this month.

Is your decision made or still in process?

I think work permit is not required. If you have the check list(IMM5690) of application you submitted there was no work permit required even at the time of application submission. Hope my answer will help
