Sorry to tell you what I have heard, singapore visa office and Hong kong visa office are a bit slower than other..........mine is in HKVO, I assume yours is in SGVO........

Just call CIC 2nd time, the first time the lady told me that my file is in HONG KONG and I have to contact HONG KONG VISA OFFICE. This time, a guy was able to to tell me that my application is still in the security check and there is no time frame for that. I guess results from calling CIC...
