Got my permanent AOR today.. January 21, 2021 HK applicant here.. :)

It is totally impossible for an employer to wait for almost 3 years for this pathway unless it is a relative. :(

Will there be any conflict if applicant has pending hccp application for new pathway and will lodge application under old pathway bound to Quebec? Applicant is outside Canada.. Thanks!

None for outside applicants, only inside has movement right now.

HCCP is they're least priority to work on, they will just keep on sending us email to update forms etc. or asking us if they want to withdraw our application..

yes.. much safer if you will follow the funds for express entry..

If applying for PR under HCCP, you will get RESTRICTED OPEN WORK PERMIT. You can work to ANY employer but the job will still be as a nanny.

If you got a permanent AOR, UCI no longer starts in T.

I know someone who got her permanent AOR this month after receiving temporary AOR last March.. 2020 applicant tho..

Its a kind of a glitch in their system because it is automated, once you receive a letter stating that you can check your application online using the UCI they give on the letter then you will notice that the number of the UCI does'nt have "T" in front of it that means you got permanent aor already.

Yes it is clearly stated on their website so better play safe if you think of switching pathways.

IRCC received mine last 21 January. Got my temporary AOR last 21 April. No more update since then.

To know whether you got permanent AOR, UCI does not have any T in the beginning.. normally they will do T0000000000 but if you got the letter with an instruction that you can now link your application with the UCI given above you will notice that "T" has been removed and can now create a GCkey.

No idea but our waiting time for that as per announcement is until end of June the IRCC will try its best to send us AOR but they did not specify if that is temporary or permanent AOR.. :rolleyes:

after getting the PFN is waiting for the letter for biometrics, then medical and last is police clearance. Not sure though cause some of my friends got email about biometrics request together with medical.

It took 3 months for me to get my temporary AOR, they only stated that my docs are in queue for review and need to wait for the permanent file number to be emailed, after receiving it, that's the only time I can link my application to online.
