Got PP back today :) (16 days in total... some delay was due to extreme weather conditions as per Canada Post!) What a long journey ;) Thanks to all of you guys in this wonderful forum. I wish all of those who are still waiting a good luck.

varmeh, U do not need to worry @ all as far as u are sure that the CIC got ur proof. Usually (if u sent an e-mail) they (the CIC) normally respond after few weeks to a month saying ur whatever submitted has been attached to ur application. So, I suggest u call the CIC specifically asking...

The UCI is the Unique Client Identifier number... it is on ur study permit or work permit or ur visitor record document. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/helpcentre/answer.asp?qnum=013&top=4

Patience is the KEY. You turn will come and will get ur PPR.

It takes at least 15 days prior to activation. I am guessing urs will be activated today! Please share if got any news.
