You actually made a wrong decision before you applied. So long as you did not school in Canada you would require ECA. Good luck with getting an extension. I pray they grant you one.

Submit your documents first then get married. But ensure that you have prepared the necessary documentation for your spouse before informing IRCC

I understand how you feel because Im in a similar situation like you, However I would advice to keep calm and request for your GMCS notes. Like they say on the Forum " No news is good news" Sofar your application hasn't been returned you are good
