But make sure that sponsor is allowed to leave canada for a long time while the application is being processed. They have so many restrictions on spouses like no trv, it's unbelievable.

No update till now. I really wonder when will they resume the work. When eveyone is going back to work as the restrictions ease up, these ircc officers seem to hv no mood to work. I hope i am wrong.

Hi, i have a query, our file was sent through a representative. We wanted to know about our file status, but she says gcms notes can only be sent ince the application crosses the normal timeline. Is it true? In our case, who can request for gcms notes? Can my husband( sponsor) do that?

Yes atleast they should start the processing. Spouse visa already takes 12 months and to add to it we have zero progress from past few months. I think we should raise our voice. Express entries are being processed so is study permit and rest. Only stagnant program is spousal applications. Why...
