The latest change in my recent GCMS notes is that the application is "in transit" to CPP Mississauga - from January 18th. Is it something normal for an application to be in transit for 3 months? Has anyone had similar issues?

Did you call CIC? Have they started working on the case in Mississauga office or it's still in transit?

My application changed to "In Process" on December 9th. Talked to an agent, the last note that they see in my case is that it was sent to Mississauga from Sydney on January 22nd. A month and a half in transit with no acknowledgement that it was received by the local office...

No, she said it changed to "in transfer" in December, that's why I'm concerned.

@sansnom Well, one week is fine, but in my case it's two and a half months. Unless they are using pigeons to send citizenship applications, that's a bit too much.

@Kan_Sri : single, 1263 days. @sansnom : there was no entry in the system indicating that they *received* it at Mississauga CPC. Does it mean that the application could be lost? Or they acknowledge that they received an application only when they start actually looking into it?

Does ECAS "In Process" mean that someone is actually looking into your application or it simply means that your papers were transferred from Sydney to a local case processing office?
