Perhaps you want to quickly do a counter letter expressing your error and post with fast track option so it gets there even before your application. Else, they might interprete it as misrepresentation of some sort.

There won't be any problem. The visa is just for entry into Canada. At the POE you have to tender the new LOA along with other documents and that should get you your SP by GOD's grace.
