Are you on a closed work permit/on LMIA? Kinda hard man. I cant find any information coming from IRCC on their actions towards foreign workers affected by corona. Its kinda general. They just mention about delayed processing time, file EI, travel bans and etc.

Been checking other threads. No reported movements of Nov and Dec 2019 AORs after march 13th. I had read an article saying that its business as usual for those who already submitted docs for express entry but nothing seems to back it up.

I understand your frustration because I myself has been waiting for couple of months now. As a matter of fact we in this forum are all waiting desperately and so we can then plan our lives ahead. We dont have any control over the processing. its sad but true. we are all in here to compare...

There are thousands of applicants waiting for review. All we have to do is wait. We cannot expedite the process. Unless we are as valuable like Einstein.

I guess the inly way to see if you are is SS is thru GCMS...as what ive seen on the previous threads, its within a day to over a year...depends on the case...

send applications. go to recruitment/hiring agencies. talk to your boss. hope everything will be fine for you.

bud. i have read a lot of cases like yours. go online and do extensive research on your next steps. since you're on closed work permit, you have to inform CIC on change of circumstances (if you get laid off). changes in your status has effects on your application since your work is LMIA based...

based on my observations on some cases i came across, outland FSW and PNP gets processed faster. its because their cases where transferred towards the local visa offices. maybe there's not much queues out there (their LVO). this is just what i have noticed and i read on previous threads.

processing is real fast in the first 2 months. then it gets stucked there for 2 months til it gets picked up. previous cases i tracked, they got their PPR on their 5th month...

tracked some cases like ours in the previous years. its gonna sit for around 2 months before it gets picked up.

i got nomination from Alberta and got the 600 points. we qualify all three programs ...PNP, CEC and FSWP....if im not mistaken, i guess we got profiled under CEC...which has the lowest processing time among the three.
