Indian visitor to US applying for Canadian visitor visa from US?

10-15 days is not much if they're going to be there for 1.5 months right? Because they intend to visit Canada during the end of their trip. Also, is there an option to apply faster in person at a Canadian visa office or something in the US??

Thanks for your response. Actually, they intend to fly next week so they don’t have enough time in India. They’ll be in US for 1.5 months. Also, the Canadian visas is for their 1.5 and 3 year old children actually, not themselves. They already have a Canadian visitor visa. By one day...

What to do with COPR paper in passport after getting PR card?

Should I just dispose this fat piece of paper from my passport now that I have the PR card? It was stapled in my passport by the IO and now the staple has come off. But I think I don’t need to staple it back in since I have my PR card already. Do we need to return it to immigration by any chance??

Never got a health insurance policy after university, got my PR now, do I get free health care??

Hi, I just received my Canadian PR. During my uni days as an international student from 2013 to 2015, I had some OHIP plan where we had to compulsorily pay for health insurance to the university. After that, I never bothered getting one. Now, I recently got my PR. Do I get free health care if...

Experts PLS suggest, do I need to file a tax return?

Oh okay. Yes, I did read it but didn't understand why it was computing it on income rather than actual GST paid for any purchases. So basically, it's just a random estimate they make based on income? I can't seem to find the numeric amounts though based on income.

Experts PLS suggest, do I need to file a tax return?

What about this: Is this referring to the GST I pay on food items, groceries, mobile purchase, etc. etc.? How would they know how much GST I have paid and how much to give me back? Don't understand this stuff.

1 year work exp split between two jobs?

Is it okay if the work experience is split between 2 different jobs under the same NOC? An agent seems to think it should be with the same employer but CIC doesn’t specify that anywhere.
