Pretty much a similar story for me, June 2019 applicant, medicals passed Feb 2020, in April 2021 got the same updates that you did about medicals and application start of processing......

I got a similar update today: "April 21, 2021. You passed the medical exam." Originally medical was passed in February 2020. Not sure what is next and when.

Thank you for your insight. I guess if we come to Toronto it will be primarily to see family. It seems there is no sure way to speed up the process. So annoying, especially with medicals expiring in February. Ah well.

Thanks for sharing your experience. Yes we are US Citizens so we can come and go as visitors at any time (assuming the border crossing still allows immediate family). So if we wait until we are in Toronto to put in a change of address, any idea how long it might be before a final decision? And...

In sending to CIC by email the requested PCC, CVs, PP copies, and Travel form, how strictly do they enforce the 5 MB limit? Would something like 5.7 MB be acceptable?
