CIC asked me to send my passport with photos and annex a, which I did but today I received an email saying that my photos don't meet the specifications provided. My pictures were taken at the photo studio at Costco, who said that they only do standard photos which are 2X2, but CIC asks for 2...

Called CIC again and explained everything. Agent said that 30 day submission deadline is only for principle applicant; family members outside Canada do not need worry about it; specially since I have informed CIC of the situation and they have acknowledged it by responding to my email.

Spoke to an agent today, who told me to send my passport to ottawa and have family send theirs' to Canadian Embassy in Pakistan. Also, received an email today saying same, only it told me to wait for directions regarding my family's passports/documents and where to send them.

Ottawa office tried to contact me through phone but unfortunately I missed that call on Monday. I have sent them an email again, but no news until now. Will send my passport in if I don't hear from them in the next 5 days. Some principal applicants actually had their family members' passport...
