What makes you say that he is in for a long ride? Is this based on your experience? It would be nice to provide some details when you make such claims

I don't understand why CIC says you need to wait 19 months for people who have security checks cleared (ghost update). Is it mandatory for them to make us wait for no reason?

I had the chance to apply for Express Entry at the same time 6 months ago. I so regret not applying. 15 months and still waiting..

If the decision is really made, I don't understand what they are waiting for to send to the passport request...
