    I have been tracking the same. It's definitely over 5 months on an average for Indians barring few exceptional case. Even those "exceptional cases" took 3 months or more.

    It's still the Sep-18 PPR that are being rolled out in most of the cases. I didn't see many Oct-18 PPR. Process is really slow or may be my expectations were a bit different:(.

    Soft Landing + Immigration Rules

    Back to basic question- What is a soft landing? My AOR is 13 Dec and MEP 23 Jan 19. It's still a long way to go. I tried to some searching but got confused between different terminologies used. But if anyone can explain what soft landing is, it would really useful. Thanks in advance.

    That's what I said! If the lag time is getting calculated with common frame of reference then it doesn't matter from what time zone you are living in/ applying from.

    Dates are supposed to be relative. I got my AOR on 13th Dec IST and expecting MEP tomorrow on 24th Jan IST. It doesn't matter what time is it in Canada since reference times are same.
