I personally would not over complicate matters. It has not even been a month since you submitted your application. Even paper applications can take time to get AOR - there is no clear pattern.

So there was a change 2 years ago I think where they did start tracking exits. I do agree with your general point though. It totally screws travel plans and is unnecessarily stressful!

They say its purely a delay at their production department. Someone spotted some error in the card and resent it for printing. Seems like many have got that excuse. Yes some are getting their cards within 60 days, many are waiting. No idea what the delay is on their end. It's frustrating to say...

They will send you an acknowledgement email saying that they received your application and that they have begun processing it. For me, it took nearly 2 months for them to send the email.

I had called last week and the agent said she put a flag on my file and she sent me an email where I could request urgent processing (same webform). I have low hopes. I was told I should have had my card by now..but oh production error.
